Kayano and the 3-E students play on Koro Sensei’s love of pudding to try and assassinate him using a giant flan. Karasuma steps up the student’s training and teaches them free running to better their chances during assassination attempts. A lingerie thief is said to be in the area that looks like Koro Sensei. After investigating the students find that it was all to lure Koro Sensei into a trap so that Itonia could attempt to assassinate him. After the failed attempt Shiro abandons Itonia. The students of 3-E must now find a way to make Itonia a part of the class. In the bonus manga, the students attempt to lure Koro Sensei into an assassination using manga.
Excellent story developments throughout this volume. We finally have our conclusion with Itonia, and maybe Shiro. Koro Sensei’s name was cleared, and the students now have sharper skills from their training. With time, I’m certain that Itonia could become a huge help to the class. Itonia is becoming one of my favorite characters because he just doesn’t know when to quit. He has his goal in mind and strives to achieve it. I imagine that trait would be valuable in this setting.
Itonia had a huge development when he decided to give up his hate, and his blind desire for strength. Now with a clear mind Itonia can work on being a normal student in class 3-E. I am sure that Itonia can come up with several assassination plans. I can’t wait to see how well Itonia develops throughout the series.
Kayano also had a major development. She is normally a quieter and out of the way character, yet she came up with one of the biggest assassination plans that we have seen in this series. The students would have succeeded if Koro Sensei didn’t have such a keen nose. I am certain this isn’t Kayano’s last plan and we will be seeing more of this scale.
This volume hit the highest marks when it came to story and character development. Several students had the opportunity to exhibit their skills, and nearly assassinate their target. As the series moves on I hope we will see even more students join the class, and maybe even come close to assassinating Koro Sensei. Assassination Classroom volume 10 was an excellent read.
